DAY 46 - Face It
TITLE: Face Me!
ASSIGNMENT: Face it. What can you do with a face-yours or someone else's? This doesn't have to be face painting; you could use food or something else to decorate it, or try molding it into a new shape with hands or tape and documenting it.
MATERIALS: Camera, my own face, PhotoShop.
INSPIRATION: At first I was going to do this to someone else's picture and then I decided, nah, take a shot of my own face and go to town! Well I did, and it came out sort of King Triton or some lost Lord of the Rings character.

DAY 45 - Tape
TITLE: The Farm
ASSIGNMENT: Create an image with masking tape or any other kind of tape, for that matter. Try making it on a nontraditional surface. Extra credit: Leave it for others to find.
MATERIALS: Clear scotch tape, watercolors.
INSPIRATION: I have only ever done this type of painting before with tape and it was a Halloween themed composition of gravestones, bats and pumpkins. This turned out simple and okay.

DAY 44 - Lights Up
TITLE: RoboLight
ASSIGNMENT: Make something that lights up. Work with an existing lampshade or put a small electric light or candle inside of something you make.
MATERIALS: Cardboard box, kitchen knife, clamp lamp, scotch tape.
INSPIRATION: I was very inspired to do a robot of some kind and this one kinda of came out very Isaac Asimov don't you think?
And here is the alternate red version I did with some Photoshop color hue trickery. I still prefer the untouched original above.

DAY 43 - Learn Something New
TITLE: Rabbit Origami
ASSIGNMENT: Learn something new. Ask a friend to help you do something using a technique or skill they're good at.
MATERIALS: Paper, felt pens.
INSPIRATION: I have little to no interest in learning origami, so I thought I would try it for this assignment. Well this rabbit took me far longer then it should. Let's hope origami is not in my future again any time soon.
